US astronaut Neil Armstrong said:
"That's one small step for [a] man, one giant leap for mankind"
as he became the first human to set foot on the moon.
"One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind"
The first words uttered by a man on the surface of the moon was , That is one small step for man one giant leap for mankind.
Here men from the planet earth first set foot apon the moon July 1969 A.D. We come in peace for all man kind
One small step for man one giant leap for man kind
Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon. He famously said "One small step for man .. but .. one giant leap for mankind". It's not actually his line because another of the astronauts (I think) was filmed saying it beforehand and it was supposed to be "One small step for a man but a giant leap for mankind" because although the first step on the moon was a small step for him, it was a huge moment in history.

Astronaut is spelled astronaut in German.
At the moment it is unknown, but it will probably say during the sneak peak at the end of the Christmas episode. The impossible astronaut is the first episode and the second is Day of the moon :)

They tried to stay upright, but I suppose at some point he may have gone down on his knee-- I know a later astronaut did. I don't know if he did or didn't, and doubt that he did, but I can not say for sure. A later astronaut actually fell backwards onto his (life support) backpack. Fortunately, it kept on working just fine.

When Armstrong first descended the ladder and stood on the footpad of the lunar module, he spent several minutes describing the lunar surface and the surrounding area.
I'd have to say the first scientist who saw the moon was the first one to look up in the sky...
