El Greco is important because he helped to preserve the cultural tradition of the Renaissance and capture of the spirit of the new reformation. He allowed the two to be merged into his work which is now mostly in the Prado Museum in Madrid, Spain. He is perhaps the most interesting mannerist artist.
They began to produce other things in their art, not only religious subjects. This helped change the people's worldview because now not everything was made by God, humans could also do great things and their bodies could be "worshipped".

The renaissance was a very creative era and probably wasn't the first to trade but probably produced many product that were helpful or needed in other places. Trade helped the renaissance grow by letting people buy & sell their goods and creating new exploration to new worlds which was a contribution of thr renaissance. :-)
