because it was part of their tradition
Joan of Arc and Napolean Bonaparte
three people have been emperor of france, or emporer of the french, the first was napolean bonaparte, or napolean I. He reigned for 10 years. The second would be his son napolean II, he reigned for a month. The third and final would be napolean III who reigned for 20 years.
The french were angry at there leaders in 1789 through the end of the french revolution, so they killed their leaders. This made them look bad to the european nations around them so they attacked and the only person to defend them was Napolean Bonaparte.
As Napoleon I, Napoleon Bonaparte was Emperor of the French. Thus he was emperor of a people, not of a nation, as he would have been had he been Emperor of France.
provide stability for the nation
Napoleon Bonaparte was a hero to the French people and a brilliant military strategist, political reformer, and Emperor of the french from 1804 to 1815.
Napoleon Bonaparte took advantage of the political and social instability in France. He was able to take power because the French government, The Directory, was corrupt and the French people were not happy with the government.
Not 100% sure. However, as Napolean was born in Corsica I would have to almost be certain that his 'native' language would have been corsican. Corsican is the traditional native language of the Corsican people, and was long the sole language of the island, which was acquired by France in 1768. However, once he started school he was schooled in French.
He was the target of numerous assassination plots and attempts, but was generally accepted by the French.
First I would suggest you define your thoughts of success. In many peoples eyes Napolean Bonaparte was a "bad leader"but, to others he is a role model because he knew was in fact a good leader in their eyes. Napolean Bonaparte in my eyes was a good leader because he was in contol of the people. He might not have made the best decisions in the eyes of the everyday person who was not in the place to judge because they did not have to make secisions like that but he was a good leader. He was a success because he is recognized all over the world as a good and strong leader who fought hard. In my eye's that is a success, being world renowned and being a good leader.
There have been several people in history who were called Louis Napoleon Bonaparte:Louis Bonaparte or Louis Napoleon Bonaparte (born Luigi Buonaparte in Ajaccio, Corsica ), was a brother of Napoleon Bonaparte, became King Louis I of HollandNapoleon Louis Bonaparte, second son of Louis Bonaparte and Napoleon Bonaparte's nephew, was King Louis II of Holland.Napoleon III, was christened Charles Louis Napoleon Bonaparte but usually called Louis Napoleon, was the third son of Louis Bonaparte and Napoleon Bonaparte's nephew. He became President and later Emperor of the French in the Second French Empire.Napoléon Eugène, Prince Imperial or Napoleon IV, Prince Imperial, was the only child of Napoleon III and Napoleon Bonaparte's great nephew, was often referred to as Louis Napoleon
What he promised was better then they had been treated by the Republic or by the Monarchy. He gave them hope and bread.
