Germany
Joseph Stalin hoped that the Treaty of Versailles would result in Hitler causing a Civil War. He wanted Communists to take over the country of Germany.
The Treaty of Versailles established peace by allowing the formation of a League of Nations to solve conflicts between countries. Also, the economic and military suppression it put on Germany and her allies prevented their retaliation.
The result was devastating for Europe. Versailles, the primary short term result of the First world war became to a large extent the cause of the Second World War. Nationalist and revanchist feelings in Germany arose due to the treatment at Versailles, allowing Hitler to gain power and pursue his agressive foreign policy, not only aiming to revise Versailles but expand far beyond, causing the invasion of Czechoslovakia and Poland when it was too late for Britain and France to react.
The Treaty of Versailles ended WW One, not WW Two. The result of this treaty was to essentially totally ruin the Germany economy. Due to the American officials who helped write that treaty, the treaty was not as harsh as the British and French would have liked. Those 2 countries preferred Germany to be destroyed.
Germany
Runaway inflation
The German Revolution came to an end August 1919, when the Weimar Republic was formally established, replacing the monarchy. Germany was suffering from a depression as a result of the harsh peace conditions dictated by the Treaty of Versailles, which forced Germany to compensate for the damages of World War One and to pay war reparations.

How much percentage of land did Germany loose as a result of the treaty of versailles
Germany had many problems such as they had to sign a contract called the Treaty of Versailles which meant they had to say they were responsible for starting the war they also had to give up half of their land , they had to sink all their battle ships, the size of their military was reduced to 100,000 men and finally Germany had to pay war reparations the the countries in the League of Nations. Germany also faced poverty due to the reparations. In order to pay off their large reparations payment they just printed more marks and this was a direct result of the inflation which was partial reason for the Great Depression that followed through out Europe and the US.
The victorious Allied forces imposed a very punitive peace treaty on Germany, the Treaty of Versailles, which among other things required Germany to pay reparations for the war. This was the primary source of the bitterness of Germans. Added to that was the economic disaster of the Great Depression, which made things hard for everyone, including Germans. It was much harder to meet the terms of the Treaty of Versailles as a result of the Great Depression. So, it was a painful situation.
A number of factors: the general resentment in Germany of the peace conditions forced on it by the Versailles Treaty after WW 1; and the economic and financial collapse as a result of the Great Recession of 1929. It should be noted that the Nazi Party and Adolf Hitler came to power through regular elections for Parliament and by the appointment of Hitler as Chancellor by Germany's president.
Joseph Stalin hoped that the Treaty of Versailles would result in Hitler causing a Civil War. He wanted Communists to take over the country of Germany.
Germany had to reduce the size of its army, pay reparations to European countries, reduce its arsenal of weapons, and assume full responsibility for the war.
Compensation to be paid by Germany to France, Belgium, Britain and other states as a result of the First World War
In Germany's perspective, the treaty of Versailles was not intended to be a pro, but a con. Many of the nations involved in world war 1 blamed Germany, and as a result of that, when devising the treaty of Versailles, Germany lost Alsace-Lorraine; given to France, North Schleswig; given to Denmark, hultschin; given to Czechoslovakia, Eupen & Malmedy; given to Belgium, West Prussia Posen and upper silesia; given to Poland. Germany's army was banned from using tanks, was reduced to 100,000 men, no airforce/submarines, and allowed only 6 capital navy ships. The league of nations took over Germany's overseas colonies, handed over back land taken from Russia from the treaty of Brest-Litovsk. Germany also had to accept full responsibilty for starting ww1, which meant paying all the reparations. MR.WIGGS SUCKSSSS!!!!!!!
