Nationalist and revanchist feelings in Germany arose due to the treatment at Versailles, allowing Hitler to gain power and pursue his agressive foreign policy, not only aiming to revise Versailles but expand far beyond, causing the invasion of Czechoslovakia and Poland when it was too late for Britain and France to react.
