the main reason is that they are easy to use and they have a easy way of getting music on them (itunes)
An iPod hold and play music, pictures and videos that you store on it. iTunes is computer software that lets you organize your pictures, music and videos before you put them on your iPod. A free download of the iTunes program can be found here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/ Click the blue button that says 'Download iTunes.'
you can only use itunes on ipods
You can transfer music files to any mp3 player (unless the files are corrupt) but you cant use iTunes to transfer them. Only iPods work with iTunes.
yes
I'm not sure I fully understand your question. But you can use iTunes to get music on your iPod. Or you can use Real Player (my personal choice). Hopefully I answered your question! If not, my apologies.
Depends who the child is. Around $40/$50. or, if they like music, an iTunes card. Many teenagers have iPods and enjoy the use of iTunes cards.
I use iTunes, so I don't know much about other music dowload stores, but RealPlayer and Limewire, I know, are compatible with Apple iPods. You can also rip a CD.
iPhones and iTV.
You are allowed to copy music for your own use between your computers and/or iPods, and to burn a copy to a CD for safe keeping. You are not allowed to redistribute by selling, sharing or giving away music.
well the earlier ipods use is mainly for music but has extras like alarms, games etc. but the more recent ipods e.g ipod touches / iphones also have music but also feature apps, internet, maps, photos, camera, itunes store, app store etc. And the iphone is a phone aswell.
You can't transfer the music for iPod to the computer unless you transfered the music to the ipods disk before. (to transfer music to the ipods disk you have to go to my computer/iPod/--what ever ipods file you have--/and put it on there) after you transfer the songs you want to the ipods disk you can then transfer only those songs onto a different computer. Itunes doesnt allow you to use more than one library that's why you have to put the songs on the "disk" first.
