What did the lords eat in medieval times?

The Nobility owned all the Land,thus the word(Landlord).Therefore they owned all the animals in the forest and in the fields,commoners were allowed to breed and raise pigs and chickens,,but all of the Deer and all Rabbits as well as quail and partridge,swans.if you were caught digging up a rabbit burrow with your trusty(poaching shovel)you would become a criminal and had to work for years as a slave until you paid for your Crime,even stealing a loaf of bread to feed your starving children would result in prison and hard labor for the Lords..what a racket Huh?so the Lords ate the deer and the other wild animals.this is by no means a complete answer,but this is just off the top of my head,please fill in the blanks,by all means.

The lords and ladies of Medieval time would eat luxurious food that the serfs would serve them. They would eat high-quality livestock such as roast pig, roast duck, ham, boiled vegetables, and other cooked foods. They would drink wine, beer, or water.
