The New Deal failed to fully address the issue of racial inequality. While it implemented many beneficial programs and policies, such as Social Security and the Civilian Conservation Corps, it did not adequately address the racial disparities and discrimination that African Americans faced. Segregation and unequal opportunities persisted, and it was not until the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s that significant progress was made in this regard.
