The Sun shines because energy is released from converting hydrogen nuclei into helium nuclei. Actually, there are several reactions involved, but that's the basic overall reaction.
It's an example of "nuclear fusion". The energy released is because of Einstein's famous equation E=mc2.
At the very center of the Sun is a nuclear furnace which is converting Hydrogen into Helium and in the process, releasing enormous amounts of energy, mainly in the form of gamma rays. The rest of the Sun serves as an insulator, slowing down these rays until they come out at last as light and heat.
Pound for pound, the Sun isn't as hot as a human body (or any mammal), but it's just so big.
The sun crated LIGHT. Without the sun you cannot have lunar or solar eclipses. I mean who does not love eclipses. However do not LOOK DIRECTLY IN THE SUN because you will go blind. So don't look at the sun.
It is a big ball of fire with burning gases. The fire makes the sun shine and gives it heat. :)
The sun will burn out in 5 billion years. :)
Gravity makes the sun move because outside the atmosphere there is no gravity so the sun can be pulled around.
heat rays and waves
thermonuclear fusion
No the sun is not made of cells
The sun is a star. It is made of gas.
The sun is made mostly of superheated hydrogen and helium.
the sun is made from helium and hydrogen fused together by gravity
the sun is solar energy so God made it. i tottaly agree with you! God made sun and the sun made solar energy..... :] bless youu
The sun wasn't made by "they" its made from gas and fire.
No the sun is not made of cells
The sun is not made out of lemens. The sun is bearly made out of anything! The sun contains helium and hydrogen.Hydrogen - 92%Helium - 8%
The sun is made of hot gases
The sun is a star. It is made of gas.
The Sun is primarily made up of gases.
The sun is made of mostly Hydrogen and Helium
The sun is mostly made of hydrogen and helium.
The sun is made mostly of superheated hydrogen and helium.
sun spots are cooler parts of the sun
The sun isn't made out of stars, it is a star.
the sun is made from helium and hydrogen fused together by gravity
