it hit lots of places as it was massive, mainly Asia ( Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India) it all hit a bit f Africa like Kenya but it didn't have a big effect there

So far 9,000 people have been proclaimed dead, and 14,000 are missing. :(
it took so long because there were no tsunami centers in the region and it was too late after all even if they did. Also when they got the warning in the pacific ocean they only warned the countries that border it
