Not trying to be sarcastic but this is like asking is there any way to fix a horses broken foot without having to perform sugery? Your answer totally depends on what's knocking and how much damage if any it has caused. , EzForJesus

No I find it quit impossible of course it depends on the solid!
Theoretically, yes, but it is physically almost impossible without forcing it.
Unless he wants to be that way, you can't. Changing someone's personality is almost impossible to do without doing a lot of damage.
possibly distributor. tow to mechanic . if you drive , you could damage your engine.
A knock sensor listens for the 'knock' (or pinking), that shows that the fuel is exploding, rather than burning. Via the engine management computer, it retards the timing of the spark, until the knocking stops. 'Knocking' can damage valves and piston crowns, if allowed to continue. A knock sensor allows different grades of fuel to be used, without damaging the engine.
yes. Depending on how long the engine was allowed to run low on oil, it may have suffered serious damage which would shorten it's life span.
Its impossible to do so without damage if not using some sort of voltage regulator. generator is 120v, cars run on 12v.
you cannot.it is impossible.
I would recommend taking it to a mechanic and have them listen to it. Everyone's definition of "knocking" is slightly different. Try not to drive it for too long; engine knocks can usually cause pretty severe damage to an engine.
