Today Asiatic lions are only found in Gir National park. Only about 411 of them are left. They usually prey up on Chital[Spotted deer] and nilgai[blue bull], Sambar[largest deer in Asia] as well as chinkara[Indian gazelle] and sometimes on black buck and absoulutely on wild boars.
