Best Answer

The amount of CO2 released by humans has increased over the last 200 years. This increase is primarily due to using fossil fuels in industries and vehicles.

Carbon Dioxide emissions are the output of CO2 through whatever process is occurring. Most carbon dioxide is produced naturally through the rotting of plant life. This accounts for roughly 90%. About 4% is derived from respiration (animals breathing). About 6% of all carbon dioxide comes from man burning some form of fuel. Much of this amount would be created naturally if man did not use the material for fuel.

Carbon dioxide is one of the important green house effect gas which is emitted by the burning of hydrocarbons and also through the biological process called respiration where the carbon dioxide is emitted out. Burning of fossil fuel, improper combustion of petroleum in automobile industries and other industries, seems to be a major cause for enhancing the level of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere.

Carbon emissions are amounts of carbon emitted from doing things like burning coal or wood. carbon emissions are also made by burning fossil fuel that are made from dead animals of plants that are left in the ground for hundreds of years
Doing things such as burning coal, gasoline, or wood emits a certain amount of carbon. Carbon emissions - carbon emitted from doing these things.

Today's, carbon dioxide emissions have become a severe ecological problem in worldwide. As a result of human activities such as burn fossil fuels like coal, oil, gas, cut down and burn forests .Climate changes occur due to the emission of greenhouse gases. From emitted greenhouse gases, ¾ are carbon dioxide (CO2). And also CO2 remains in the atmosphere longer than the other major heat-trapping gases emitted. As irreversible change, if it continues to accumulate unabated in the atmosphere.

How do carbon emissions exemplify the tragedy of the commons?

Carbon emissions are not related to the tragedy of the commons. There are not any studies that confirm that carbon emissions contributed in any way.

What is the difference between carbon credits and Certified emissions rate?

Certified emission rates are a limit on the amount of emissions a company can release into the atmosphere within a given time frame. It is a cap on the emissions itself.Carbon credits looks more at the net carbon emissions. There are companies that plant trees, which reduce the amount of carbon in the air. For their good deeds, they get carbon credits, which they sell to companies that emit carbon. The carbon credits work to offset the actual amount of emissions a company puts out.Note that carbon credits cancel out the emissions, but don't lower emissions at all, unlike a cap on emission rates.

Are carbon emissions released to the air when driving a car?

Yes, in the form of CO2 (carbon dioxide), CO (carbon monoxide) and other carbon emissions, including more or less pure carbon.

Are carbon emissions going to destroy the ozone?

Yes they are. Carbon emissions cause global warming and then they cause ozone depletion.

How are carbon emissions produced?

cars.

How does solar power reduce carbon emissions?

By its self it does not reduce carbon emissions. What it does do is provide an alternative source of energy that does not create any more carbon emissions. Though, this will only become effective when solar energy is more cost effective than carbon based energy.

What are the causes of carbon emissions?

The causes of carbon emissions are humans. We humans use fuel by DRIVING TOO MANY FUEL CARS AND TRUCKS!

I'm certain someone will debate me for this, but global climate change has been attributed largely to carbon dioxide emissions.

How does sprawl increase carbon dioxide emissions?

Urban sprawl creates and increases carbon dioxide emissions via more vehicles on the roads. More people means more transportation needed. More vehicles on the road creates more carbon dioxide emissions.

What are the carbon emissions considered for a solar plant of 4 MW in Surat City?

Solar plants have practically no carbon dioxide emissions, except when they are being built.
