Catholicism is nothing other than Judaism fulfilled. Our Blessed Lord, Jesus Christ, was a Jew and He was God, He came and fulfilled the old covenant to the letter, and established the new and everlasting covenant. To the best of my knowledge, I have never heard of a Catholic linking Islam with either Judaism or Christianity, although I believe the secular press does because they view all three as Abrahamic religions.
Abraham's descendants are primarily identified through his sons Isaac and Ishmael. Isaac is the father of Jacob, who is later named Israel, and his descendants form the twelve tribes of Israel, significant in Judaism and Christianity. Ishmael is traditionally regarded as the ancestor of various Arab tribes. Thus, Abraham is considered a patriarch in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, linking these faiths through his lineage.
The messianic line refers to a lineage believed to lead to the Messiah, a central figure in various religious traditions, particularly in Judaism and Christianity. In Judaism, it is often traced through the descendants of King David, as prophesied in the Hebrew Scriptures. In Christianity, Jesus is seen as the fulfillment of these messianic prophecies, linking him to the Davidic line through genealogies presented in the New Testament. This lineage underscores the belief in the coming of a savior who will restore and redeem.
