Function Kay's can be used with other keys such as the ctrl and alt keys. F1 is the help key, F2 is a highlighting key, F3 opens a search bar, F4 finds window, F5 reloads browser pages, F6 moves the curser, F7 is spell check, F8 safe mode, F9 opens toolbar, F10 activates the menu bar, F11opens full screen mode, and F12 opens the save window. These functions my vary by computer.

The F Lock on a keyboard disables the use of function keys. E.G: F1 F2 F3 etc.
You sum up the frequencies upto and including the current band. So if you have data bands b1, b2, b3 and so on with frequencies f1, f2, f3 etc then the cumulative frequency for b1 = f1 b2 = f1+f2 b3 = f1+f2+f3 and so on.
I'm not 1oo% sure on this, but I think your answer is no. Because whenever you tap f1, f2, f3, etc... it automatically carries out your commands without having to touch other keys.... Hope this helps!
