First question is, do you need to know them for lab or lecture?
I teach anatomy, and what I tell my students is to do this:
- Translate the name of the bone. This helps many people.
- Identify the bone on yourself, then on a pet.
- Did you know that a chicken "drumstick" was really the tibia?
- If you eat meat with the bone in, find out what that bone is.
- There are memory phrases for some of the bone groups.
- You know there's 206 bones in the human - be glad you only have to know 25.
