Differ From what?

Anyways in a nutshell the Islamic beliefs about life on earth are simple human are here to believe in God and do good. we should be thankful for whatever comes our way as God is the one who sent it our way whether to test us, punish us or reward us. for we don't know what's good and what's bad on the long run.

And the in the after life. after we die we are judged while we are in our graves. the bad are punished and the good are rewarded with the lack of punishment. after that in the day of kyama. we are all judged by God. good people go to Heaven and bad people go to Hell. (Good and bad are determined by how you obeyed God during your life). God is real so

The afterlife in Islam is called "akhira". It is the belief of life after death.

Muslims believe that life is a test and after dying you will be judged on whether you should enter paradise or hell. The life that you will lead in either paradise or hell is referred to as your afterlife or akhira.

It is a little more complicated if you want to know about it in detail, but the above is the summary.

Muslims believe in having the last Day of Judgment. On this day, your deeds will be judged by God. Accordingly, having good deeds, you will be rewarded, by God mercy, by eternal life in the Paradise. If having bad deeds, you will be punished by Pushing you in the Hell fire unless being forgiven by God. God, promised to forgive all your sins (per His will), if you repent sincerely, except the sin of worshiping partner to the one and only one God, the Creator, who has no son, no father, no companion, and no resemblance..

Quran says:

Meaning English Translation:

{When death approaches one of the unbelievers, he says, "Lord, send me back again (99) so that perhaps I shall act righteously for the rest of my life." Although he will say so but his wish will never come true. After death they will be behind a barrier until the day of their resurrection. (100) There will be no kindred relations nor any opportunity to ask about others or seek their assistance after the trumpet has sounded. (101) If the side of ones good deeds weighs heavier on a scale, he will have everlasting happiness, (102) but if it weighs less, one will be lost forever in hell. (103) The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. (104)}

[Quran, chapter 23, verses 99-104]

AnswerThe afterlife, known to Muslims as 'Akhirah', is the place you go to after you die. If you have committed a horrific sin and have not prayed forgiveness you will go to Hell, as in most religions. If you have committed only minor sins and have prayed for forgiveness then you will go to Al 'Jannah' aka Paradise which is the Islamic heaven. There holy book is called the 'Qur'an' but Allah, God, also has a Book of Rules by which he judges a person's deeds, eventually deciding where they will go. Muslims believe there are three planes of existence- Heaven, Hell and where we are now. The Book of Rules is basically a huge volume which contains the story of someones life- what sins they have committed, how much they have prayed, whether they have been disloyal, ect. So, after you die you are thrown into the fiery pits of Hell or thrust into Allah's open arms...

In Islamic teaching, after someone dies his/her soul will be kept in the world called Barzakh. Every soul will be kept here until the judgment day. Then on the judgment day, every soul will be judged by his/her deeds in the world of Dunya (the world we're living in), as there will be people who get accepted into heavens, some will be sent to hell to do their time first before being accepted into heavens, while there are people who will be condemned to the hell forever, along with Iblees(Satan)

All the muslims believe that a central doctrine ( is a codification of beliefs or a body of teachings or instructions,) of the Qur'an is the Last Day, on which the world will be destroyed and Allah will raise all people and jinn(Spiritual beings) from the dead to be judged.

Muslims believe in the 2nd eternal life after death. Muslims believe that after death and being buried, they will be pending the Resurrection Day and Day of Judgment. On this day, your deeds will be judged by God. Accordingly, having good deeds, you will be rewarded, by God mercy, by eternal life in the Paradise (or the Heavens). If having bad deeds, you will be punished by Pushing you in the Hell fire unless being forgiven by God. God, promised to forgive all your sins (per His will) except the sin of worshiping partner to the one and only one God, the Creator, who has no son, no father, no companion, no associate, and no equivalence. However, the All-Merciful the All-mighty Allah (or God in English and same God worshiped in Judaism and Christianity) may forgive any one whom He likes.

The Muslims believe in the life hereafter. The Muslims believe that all humans will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment. They will be judged according to their good or bad deeds and sent to hell or heaven accordingly. However, Merciful Almighty Allah may forgive any one whom He likes.
