The Bible is God's Word and true. (John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16, 17) This includes the creation account in Genesis. The evolution teaching is in direct conflict with this account so is therefore not possible. The creative days in Genesis are not literal 24 hour days but reflect thousands of years. Also, Genesis 1:1 says "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." It does not state when that beginning was, so it is possible that it was billions of years ago. The Bible and true science are in complete harmony. Check out the information in the Related Links below for more information.

Which group does not allow blood transfusions because they believe that taking blood into the body is morally wrong?

The group is know as "Jehovah's Witnesses". They believe that receiving blood transfusions are the same as drinking blood, which is stickily forbidden in the old testament law and repeated in the new testament book of Acts where Gentile believers were to "they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication." The problem comes down to whither or not transfusions are drinking blood or not.

How long have Jehovah's Witnesses been around?

The modern day organization of Jehovah's Witnesses has been around for about 130 years. Formerly known as "Bible Students" they formally adopted the name of Jehovah Witnesses in the 1930's. Jesus as well was a witness so they have been around long before...According to The Watchtower 15th April 1970,''When did Jehovah's witnesses get started? In all fairness, Jehovah's witnesses believe that this question should be answered by giving the ancient and modern history of Jehovah's witnesses. Since Jehovah's witnesses are not a sect but are an association of men and women who put God's service first and line up with Bible principles, they are part of the group of witnesses that began with the first true witness of God, Abel-all of whom have looked to the righteous conditions of God's new order to come. It was Jehovah God who spoke of his people as witnesses, saying: "You are my witnesses, . . . and I am God." (Isa. 43:12) And it was Jehovah's Son, Christ Jesus, who said: "You will be witnesses of me . . . to the most distant part of the earth." It was the apostle Paul who referred to Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac and the prophets as "so great a cloud of witnesses." (Acts 1:8; Heb. chap. 11; 12:1) So witnesses of Jehovah existed all the way back to Abel.In modern times Jehovah's witnesses began their activity in the early 1870's''

Danny Granger still active in Jehovah's Witnesses?

I have done some research and can find no indication that Danny himself was ever actually baptised as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was raised in a Witness household, but to be considered an active Witness by the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, each person has to decide for himself that is what he wants to do, and take appropriate steps to identify himself as a Witness of Jehovah, includng being baptised, which confirms his place in the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. I see no indication that he has done that, only that his parent(s) are (or were) Jehovah's Witnesses.
