We view suicide as... well, not a sin, but not a good thing. We view it as a tragity.
Jehovah's Witnesses understand that God is the Creator and Source of life. If a person were to deliberately take a life, whether his own or that of someone else, that would be murder, and murder is a VERY serious sin.
Of course no human can judge whether or not someone was of sane mind when he or she committed suicide. Ultimately, only Jehovah God and Jesus Christ can do that. So, whether that one would be resurrected in the future is also in their hands.

∙ 13y agoWe all believe something different about suicide, but I can tell you that if someone we know does commit suicide, that they were probably in deep emotional pain that they felt no one could understand. We cannot read hearts, but God can, so he would know what caused them to take their life and likely resurrect them after Armageddon if that was the case.
