the Khana Kaba
The Kaaba was built by Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) and his son Prophet Ismael (Ishmael) as a shrine dedicated to the worship of one God. It serves as a central focal point for Muslims around the world during their prayers and pilgrimage.
The most holy Muslim shrine in Mecca is called the Kaaba. Muslims believe it was built by the Prophet Abraham and his son Ishmael as a house of worship dedicated to the one true God. The Kaaba is located within the Masjid al-Haram and is the focal point of the Hajj pilgrimage, which is one of the Five Pillars of Islam.
Muslims believe that the Kaaba was first built by Abraham, called Ibrahim in Arabic.
the believe that Abraham and ishmael built a shrine in mecca called the ka'ba and there is a rock inside it that fell from the sky and was once white but since so many people touched its black witch rezembles there sins taken away
The Kaaba in Mecca became the principal object of worship among the Arabs. It is a sacred black stone structure that Muslims believe was built by Prophet Abraham and his son Ishmael. Muslims face the Kaaba when they pray and it is considered the most sacred site in Islam.
The Ka'aba is the first house for the worship of the One God built on Earth. So says the Qur'an. It was built, by Abraham and his son Ishmael, even before the Temple in Jerusalem. It was dedicated, by Abraham, as a place for pilgrimage. That is the significance of the Ka'aba to Muslims.
Abraham did not build anything specifically for the Muslims. However, Abraham built the Ka'aba which currently serves as the Qibla or Direction of Prayer for Muslims.
The Kaaba was built by Prophet Ibrahim and his son Isma'il as a place of worship for monotheistic beliefs. Muslims believe it to be the first house of worship dedicated to Allah.
Muslims only worship the one and only God, Allah, and do not worship anything else, including a black box. The 'black box' that you are referring to is properly called the ka'bah, and is believed by Muslims to have been built by Adam originally and then rebuilt by Abraham. It is considered to be the most sacred place of worship in Islam. Muslims do circumambulate the ka'bah and do face it during prayer, however Muslims DO NOT worship the ka'bah itself. To say that would be as absurd as saying that Christians who go to Church worship the Church itself or Jews who go to the synagogue worship the synagogue itself. The ka'bah is merely symbolic and is considered to be the 'house of Allah' hence Muslims face it during prayer, but actually worship only Allah.
First of all it is not a stone, it is what Muslim's believe to be Allah's house on earth. They do not in any way believe he is inside it nor do they worship the Ka'ba. The stone you're referring to was sent down from Allah (what western scientist perceive to be a meteorite) to pin point the exact place he wanted this house to be built. It is believed by Muslims that the House was built by Abraham and possibly his sons helped. The stone has no other relevance other than that. Having said, the stone i believe can be viewed in Mecca but am not totally sure. Now the Ka'ba is not to be worshipped by Muslims, but it is used to give direction in which all Muslims all over the world will pray in. And nothing more then this. its their religion
What you're referring to [what I'm guessing you're referring to anyway] is the Kabah. Kabah is symbolised as the House of God. Muslims don't worship the 'black box'. They pray towards the direction of Kabah [if it makes sense?]
It is called the Ka'ba (Kaaba) meaning the CUBE, where Muslims worship the one and only God named Allah. It was built by Abraham (Ibrahim) and his son Isma'eel (Peace and blessings be on them both). It is the required site for Muslims to pilgramage (The five pillars of Islam).
