Belief is similar to belief of Jews and Christians.
- After death based on the deeds the person will suffer or sleep peacefully in grave till the day of judgment.
- On day of judgment all humans will be resurrected and brough to Almighty Allah. Now Almighty Allah will decide who will go to hell and who to heaven.
I have put this very simply. There are lots of nuances which is a subject in itself.
Please note that Muslims believe in Moses and Chrish (called Musa and Isaa by Muslims). Allah sent all the prophets with similar message but over time humans start to distort them. So if you look at basic teachings of Musa or Christ or Muhammad (swah) it will be very similar.
