Taoism does not believe in forcing anyone to do anything. Taoism believes that the highest goal is to be one with Nature and with the forces of nature. Going with the flow, while not causing harm and encouraging virtue, is the main teaching of Taoism. Violence or coersion are seen as deeply ignorant and self damaging in Taoist teaching.
