Westie Rescue of CA & 7 Western States - has a time tested diet (for all stages of the dog's life). All rescues through their program, plus any In-Takes with skin conditions (i.e. yeast, Staph, feet licking, scrubbing muzzle, etc.) are helped with their results oriented protocol and change to The Westie Diet. There are immatation diets, but this is and was the first such diet to produce significant results. Actual 'hands-on' testing of ingredients on their rescued Westies, were consulted and guidedin development by Veterinarians, dietitians and actual months of testing before the 'recipe' was formed. The Executive Director is available to answer questions, via email, regarding conditions and upkeep maintenance. A tailor-made suggested protocol is possible for owner's dogs who email with questions and/or concerns. Featured on their website are unsolicited owner testimonials, with before and after photos. Visit the website link: http://www.westierescueca.com/diet.htm. Download the recipe and recommended products, treats, etc. Ask for help, it is available. They care!

if u r unsure, go to a vet to check, any to be honest, because when i got my westie, me and my mum went to the vet and asked them the exact same thing, and they gave us a special cup and it shows u measurements of how much puppies should eat, it even shows u big dogs and small dogs, so if u get that cup u should be fine, ive had mine for about 3 years and i alway fill that cup halfway, so it kinda depends on ur dog
Dogs may not have chocolate of any kind--it is poisonous to them. Stick to dog food for your dog's health.
THey will when they are not feeling well.
Dark chocolate is the highest poison to give dogs. If the dog were to eat a large amount, they could well need a trip to the vets.
