i really wanted to no this answer and for my science homework i tried to research this and did not work so here is the answer to this i struggled with this and i don't want you to so here is the answer YOU HAVE TO HAVE A COMPLETE METAMORPHOSIS TO BECOME AN INSECT AND THEY HAVE 2 OF THE SAME STAGES

They are different cuz THE COMPLETE Metamorphosis STARTS AS AND EGG THEN GOES TO LARVA THEN GOES TO PUPA THEN COMES ADULT INCOMPLETE GOES FROM EGG STRAIGHT TO ADULT so there you go
