They don't do anything. They can't put a cast on your nose for a couple reasons. First of all, it would look hilarious, second of all, you can't wrap it around your nose like you can wrap it around your arm. It's not fun having a broken nose. You are just going to have to wait for it to heal on it's own, and if the pain is really bad, you can take pain killers, but only when needed. It's not good to get addicted to pain killers, because if you have them too much, you can get immune to them and they will eventually stop working, so try to go with the pain as much as you can. Another good thing is ice, put ice on your nose and it will make the pain go away for a while and also bring the swelling down.
