Ok, here's a massive list that me and my friends made before our prom.
1 month
x Buy necessary items
x Get an outfit
x Make sure the outfit is perfect and comfortable (1 month should leave enough time for alterations, e.g, if you are dancing you might want to take the lenght up a bit)
x Know what make up style you are choosing
On the day...
4 hours
x Charge phone
x Charge camera
x Put cucumber on your eyes
x Have a shower and shave
3 Hours
x Take stuff off charge
x Do hair
x Pack bag (make a checklist of things you'll need in your bag)
x Keep checking over checklist
2 Hours
x Try on outfit (Also, a perfect bra is essential!)
x Make sure your whole outfit is perfect
x Checkover checklist again
1 Hour
x Do make up (Proms aren't usually very bright places, so you won't need too much make up on)
x Put your make up in your bag (Don't take all your make up - It will just weigh you down. Only take the most important stuff like eyeshadow, mascara and lip gloss)
x Keep a close eye on your phone in case of any emergency changes your friends have made
x Check over checklist again (You're probably wondering why you need to check over your bag so much. Well, here's the most common disaster that happens at most proms. The girl speds so much time on her hair and make up that by the time her date rings the door bell, she only has like 10 seconds to grab her bag and her phone and run. When she gets to the prom, she find out she forgot the tickets and hasn't even got her money to buy some more.)
30 Minutes
x Brush teeth
x Check over checklist one last time
x Go to the toilet! You don't want to be bursting by the time you get there!
It is traditional that when her date comes, the first person he should see when th door opens is his girl.
