because sometimes guys don't realize what they are doing and that is just a type of the behavior that they have sometimes. All the boys I know don't really care about that stuff and they don't realize what they say unless you say something about it if you don't like it. If it offends you or you don't like it, then talk to your boyfriend about it so then he will know it's hurting your feelings and then he will hopefully stop doing it.
