Well firstly make sure your hamster has a big cage, i have always found it cruel when hamsters have such small cages, this will give it some general exercise when you are asleep or not there. Another thing is having things for your hamster in the cage this will include a wheel, sometimes hamsters (like mine) might not understand the wheel and not use it but its worth a try and will defo get your hamster alot of exercise. the last piece of exercise i can think of is a ball (ye ye ha ha) but really! I mean some people think this is cruel but i don't see anything wrong with it. both my hamsters seem to enjoy it :) (but a word of warning make sure you get the right size, make sure your hamster is FULLY awake as it will just go to sleep in the ball and lastly be prepared to be picking up poo from your floors and sometimes they might poo in the ball)
