You just need to look decent...a shirt and jeans would be fine (i too wear a jeans and a shirt when i visit a temple)do make sure the neck isn't too deep and u aren't showing too much skin else keep a stole or scarf handy....

Well if u are in an Hindu temple u do have to wear a yellow robe or any colored robe but if u just came to visit u don't have to wear a robe

Women normally where either a Salwar kameez or saree unless h=just visiting then you can wear any thing not to revealing

and guys can wear just normal clothes but remember YOU ARE NO LEATHER CLOTHES

You can wear any normal cloth that you occasionally wear. If you are a girl i dnt think its a gud idea to wear clothes that show a lot of skin because i haven't seen any girl wearing as such in temple ever but short sleeved shirts and normal length skirts are not a problem. Furthermore, u dnt need to be a hindu to enter a hindu mandir.

Hindu girls wear Salwar kameez or saree to the mandir , or any traditional wear. Hindu boys wear kurta pyjama, Dothi, white lungi etc.
