homeless are just like us so they don't need to be called homeless they should be called by their real name anyways the"homeless" wake up and walk to a dumpster then look for food if no food they go to a shelter and ask for food there if still no food they will go back to sleep trying to stay strong until tomorrow through the night they may not live if they do the cycle starts over

Wake up really early because you hurt from the cold or if you are lucky and it is summer the sun came up.

Start to try and find a way to feed yourself today, if you are lucky there is a mission or shelter that provides breakfast.

A person who is not addicted to drugs or seriously mentally ill will be spending most of his or her time trying to get into a better situation during the day.

A trip to the soup kitchen for supper, lunch came and went without food.

Try to get into one of the shelters for the night, if you are not in bad shape, (sick or mentally ill) you will probably be asked to allow someone more needy to take "your" spot at the shelter. More than 80% of homeless people are not seriously mentally ill, addicted or sick, just down on their luck and once you are down this far it really hard to get back into employment and a place to live.

Then you have to find a place to sleep that is sheltered, the police won't bother you and you won't be attacked for your warm clothing.

Repeat until you manage to get a permanent place to live.

The homeless sleep on the streets if they do not find a place to sleep then they just find a place to sleep, which is often in unsafe circumstances, such as:

• the park and sleep on the benches
• under bridges
• in alleys
• in doorways of shops after closing
• in abandoned houses or abandoned buildings
