What do i do with my dead cat's body?

I too had the same problem.Where I live they have a by law that states animals have to be buried in a pet cemetery.Turns out it was an hour by car to get there.You would figure in a popular city they would have a pet cemetery MUCH closer.

I buried my 2 cats at my mother in laws house.(You cant go wrong)you're loved ones are close.

One time we found our cat's kitten in the street, hit by a car. I laid her on a table in the garage, and brought the mama cat in to see her kitten, so that she would know. The mother wailed a horrible scream, vomited, then turned away and would have nothing more to do with it. Isadora was a wonderful mother to her little kitten, Peapod. It was a sad, yet moving experience to watch this.

If the cat is not delivering the stillborn kittens on her own, she will need to go to the vet and have surgery to have the babies removed. Otherwise, the babies may cause blood poisoning and extreme illness to the mother cat.

If the mother is still around, then let her do something about it. But if the mother is nowhere to be found, bury it in your backyard. That is probably the best choice.

You can either dig a grave for your cat and bury it for free. You could also call a veterinarian and for a small fee they will cremate your cat.
