Kangaroos' habitats are constantly changing, and the larger kangaroos adapt readily to these changes. Red kangaroos and Grey kangaroos have learned to utilise man's water sources; they have learned to feed on his crops; they have learned to use whatever shelter is available; they will feed from bird feeders close to the ground. When their food source or water sources is completely depleted, they will move on to where food and water are more readily available. Wallabies and the smaller species of kangaroos do not adapt as well. They are more likely to suffer from habitat loss, and they are more vulnerable to introduced predatorial species.
