There is no law saying you have to give your new employers information on a failed drug test. You sign a waiver form and give the lab permission to give your employer the results.
no!The only way you could still have a possibility of getting the job once failing a drug screen, would be for you to produce prescriptions for whatever meds you failed the test for.
If you failed a drug test for the Post Office for a job, can you reapply?
As an employer I would not hire a person who was terminated for failing a drug test unless they owned up to having and correcting a problem with drugs. I would also really need that persons skills badly or I would move on to a candidate without a drug abuse history. It looks better to not take a drug test and get fired, versus taking a drug test and failing. There are companies that will hire people who have failed drug test. This is AMERICA... it does however look better if you actually don't take the test. That information came from a article written by a guy helping people get jobs after layoffs, drug tests, various other things.First off the results are only property of the company who paid for the last test . and only for a short time . new employers wont know about it .
All employers drug test because who wants a drug addict working for them??
Answer To my knowledge, in America, no, not unless someone from the old job tells the new employer, but if they do it is against the law to give out that information and they could get into trouble and most people wouldn't jeopardize their job for that bit of information. When someone calls a past employer, all that is supposed to be given out is the length of time you worked there and possibly your title. I don't think you have anything to worry about. Actually you must answer if they failed a drug test, if they are DOT. Meaning that they hold a CDL and they drive a vehicle for their job. Then by law, you are obligated to answer truthfully. And if you don't, you could be sued.
No
No.
If you suspect you have failed a drug test you have the right to know the results and you can find out by calling the company or department who issued your drug test and they should be able to tell you if you passed or not.
The fancy name for "what the drug produces" is the metabolite, which is all you CAN check for.
He failed the drug testing
no
You failed
