To maintain homeostasis and keep the cell functioning properly.
Not sure what you mean by "work together," but the proteins that are translated from mRNA from the nucleus can be embedded on the cell membrane such as various types of receptors or integral membrane proteins.

What three structures does every cell have?

~ cell membrane ~ ribosomes ~ cytoplasm ~ DNA Not all cells have a nucleus. prokaryote cells do not have a nucleous. A way to remember this is "Pro-No," "pro" short for prokaryote and no as in "no" nucleus Example: animals and plants eukaryote cells have a nucleus. Example: bacteria bacteria is not a eukaryote cell. and DNA is in all cells

Three basic parts of all cells?

Three basic parts are nucleus, cytoplasm and cell membrane. Nucleus contain the genetic information of a species (DNA). Cytoplasm has all the cell organelles and molecules. Plasma membrane make the boundary of a cell, that conducts ions and participate in cell signalling.

Does a nucleus have cytoplasm?

As far as I know, a nucleus does not have cytoplasm. You can find cytoplasm inside the cell, but not inside the nucleus itself. The nucleus contains genetic material.
