I contend that it is an inhumane act of criminality to bring a child into this world if you do not have the financial, emotional and physical ability to competently cater to the needs of the child. A person, who decides to bring a child into this world, should consider the social, physical and emotional conditions under which the child will be expected to exist. A person who is unfit to be a parent, should not be permitted to bring a child into this world. Unfit persons can fall within the following categories; medically unfit, physically unfit, emotionally unfit, socially unfit and financially unfit. A child does not have the freedom to choose the most competent person for his/her parent so those who have the privilege of choice, should do so wisely.
Parents have many obligations toward their children. Parents should keep kids safe from harm, and provide them with food and shelter. Parents should also nurture kid's development and make sure they are educated.

To become obedient and respectful to others especially to others older than them.
My moral obligation to my children is to teach them right from wrong and to prepare them for adult life. I don't teach my children to be obedient, I teach them to think for themselves.
To make sure they teach their child (children) right from wrong, to help them develop into adults that will contribute to their community and society, to teach them to care for others, how to solve problems, to be independent and take care of themselves, to teach or introduce them to some form of religion, and to give them a foundation for growth and learning.
Not only to tell them the correct path to walk in their own lives but to lives as examples for them to follow
Parents owe their children kindness, love, security, a happy childhood, a sound education (with the help of schools) and a sense of right and wrong.
Rational Respect and Rational Obedience
In life, every man has twin obligations obligations to his family, to his parents, to his wife and children; and he has an obligation to his people, his community, his country.
No, 18 is legal age of an adult.
Child support does not depend upon the legal relationship of the parents - instead, it is based upon the relationship between the parent and the child. Thus, parents who are unmarried are still parents and have the same parental rights and obligations to their children as a married or divorced couple would.

Answer: Yes, a divorced woman canbecome a nun so long as the followining requirements were met (they are the same for a divorced man who wants to become a monk): (1) An annulment has been granted (2) There are no legal or financial obligations towards the former spouse or children e.g. if there were children who were classified as minors, permission would not be granted to become a nun. If a man had financial obligations towards children, he could not become a monk.

Nope, after 15 and 7 months, parents are no longer responsible for their children, except under extreme legal obligations instilled by the Court.

Parents rarely hate their own children. Their love is unconditional. Even if they hate, they would have hatred because of some genuine reason.
Children "succeed" to the rights and obligations of their parents. That means simply that they take on whatever the parents owned and owed. They may renounce the succession. But by doing so the renounce both what the parents owned as well as what they owned. Bottom line: You want mama and daddy's house and bank account? You gotta take mama and daddy's debts along with it.
