No don't. Give your piranhas worms.
Piranhas normally live in large groups that swim and feed together. Piranhas prefer to feed on dead on injured prey as killing large prey requires a great deal of energy.
Piranhas mainly feed on meat. They can eat dead or alive fish. You may think that these fish are very fearsome. But they aren't. They have very sharp teeth, but they can't rip your arm off. And if you think about it, piranhas need to eat. Piranhas are just being piranhas. After all, piranhas are still a part of nature!

When Piranhas are very young yes but as they get older and bigger they prefer larger foods eg. PRAWNS, BEEF, WHITE FISH, SARDINES. or any fish really they are not usually fussy and as long as it is fresh uncooked flesh Piranhas are usually happy. Feed Piranhas uncooked shell on prawns to boost the radiance of their colours and make them bright. R.Martin Marine biologist
