Porcupines have quills which look like needles on their backs. These protect the porcupine against predators and come contain a poison.
Like sweet rabbits with DEADLY SPIKES! Touch at your own risk.
Like there's a big needle(s) stuck in your cat. Quills are barbed like fishing hooks making them difficult to remove; without medical attention the quills will likely become deeper into the animal and cause infection. If there something stuck in your cat you should take it to the vet.
How can a porcupine look like a vaginni - it's all dry and prickly. Weirdo....
No. No they do not. Not only are their physical features very distinct, but their scents are entirely different. To begin with, porcupines have a coat of sharp spines, or quills that set them apart from all other animals. Obviously, beavers do not carry this trait. Beavers have webbed feet and a long, wide tail. The tail of the porcupine is neither long or wide and porcupine's feet are not webbed. Next, beavers are the second largest rodent. Porcupines are the third largest rodent. This means that beavers are larger then porcupines. As you can see, beavers are completely different animals and have no true resemblance whatsoever. Sorry to all of those out there who thought they resembled each other. Also, please note that just because these animals might be related, does not mean they look alike. Oh, and just because you draw spikes on a beaver, does not mean it actually looks like a porcupine. You could probably draw spikes on a toaster and make it look like a porcupine.
They give birth to the young with the spines fully developed, whether it hurts or not, ask a porcupine. The young porcupine's quills are soft at birth but harden within the first half hour after birth. I would imagine that natural child birth does not come without some pain, but the pain for the porcupine is not cause by the quills.
Porcupines look like little bugs when they are in offspring they don't look exatually what they look like when they are out. When they are offspring they are resting and waiting for winter. I know because i remember this book in 2nd Grade about porcupines.
i am not sure, i want to know the same thing but when i get a picture in my head i see them as green and soft. I need it for a science fair project. I THINK they are like that, i am not sure... No, NOT at ALL sure. :(
a porcupines track will look like a small one in front and a big one in the back
It looks like a porcupine and looks spiky! ~ anonymous~ llol
Hedgehog's quills are not always brown, but also white. While Hedgehogs may look like they are brown because of their quills and fur, like other animals are white underneath their fur.
Multicellular means that an organism has many cells. A porcupine fits that description. An amoebae is unicellular since it has one cell. And a porcupine doesn't look like a microscopic amoeba.
