Princesses would wear the same types of robes as any royalty. The more wealthy you were in the middle ages, the better your fabric. The wealthy tended to wear bright colors.
Towards the end of the Middle Ages aristocratic men began to wear forms of tights with jackets or tunics with a surcoat. Again, these were all very brightly colored and of fine fabrics such as silk. Aristocratic wore long flowing gowns, their hair was nicely groomed and they wore very decorative headdresses. Unlike peasants, nobles would line their clothes with fur for extra warmth.
Extravagent jewellery between nobles was very well known of and diamonds were very popular across Europe throughout the 1400's.
