∙ 15y agoThe spotted-tail quoll, also known as the tiger quoll, despite its name, has white spots over its body and tail. The fur is otherwise coloured from a reddish brown to a Dark Chocolate brown. Males can be up to 1.3m long (130 cm).
The eastern quoll is also spotted, except for its bushy tail, and its fur is fawn, brown or black. The tail may have a white tip. The male of this species is half the length of the spotted-tail quoll.

∙ 12y agoThe quokka, a small and stocky member of the kangaroo family, lives in long grass or bushland with plenty of low scrub cover. Within this habitat, it makes pathways for feeding, and to allow for quick escape if it is disturbed, so its home is quite distinctive for its many tracks. Quokkas are limited to certain regions and offshore islands of Western Australia.
