Religious people say many things to God, Jesus summarized the attitude of a religious person very well in just a few words in the parable about a pharisee and a publican, in Luke 18:11-12 - "The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican, I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess." In contrast with the prayer of of a profane person, illustrated by the publican in the same parable Luke 18:13 - "And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner."
Different religious people may have varying beliefs about God, ranging from a single divine being with absolute power to multiple gods representing different aspects of existence. Some may view God as a loving figure who guides and protects them, while others may see God as a force of nature or a cosmic energy that governs the universe. Ultimately, beliefs about God are deeply personal and often central to one's religious faith and practices.
because some people are religious and when people say they dont believe in god there is an argument :)
There is no answer to this question. Religious, god-fearing people will say yes, because they have faith in their god to do the right thing, but cynics and atheists will say otherwise.
Only observing religious people can be far away evil,do good thinks, and only like that they can say thank to their god.
Religious people find hope through God or their gods. I would say its rather hard to find hope if you're not religious. I've never tried not being religious so I really wouldn't know : )
Many people believe he is real, many do not. At the end of the day, it comes down to religious belief.
there is no answer to that because since most laotian people are Buddhist and Christmas is a religious holiday for god there is no way to say "merry Christmas" in laotian
Well by the book "Oh, my God," it is a western cultural phrase. It is often said in times of surprise, and rarely, as a plea to one's god (usually Yahweh, the Christian god). Its origins are obviously religious, but it is not often said with religious overtones in the present day.
they all say that happiness comes from inside and god is one
People are often drawn to religion for a sense of community, purpose, comfort, and hope. Faith provides a framework for understanding the world and coping with life's challenges, even in the absence of concrete evidence. Additionally, spiritual experiences and personal beliefs can be deeply meaningful to individuals, influencing their belief in a higher power.
A group of people who follow in a particular religion, God and are prayerful people is termed as a religious community. Catholicism is a community of people who believe in the Holy Trinity and God's message of Peace and is the best example of a 'religious community.' In Catholicism, religious community can also refer to a religious order, such as the Dominicans, Franciscans or Benedictines. These, and other, orders are often referred to as religious communities.
Religious brothers and sisters are people who serve God in a Holy fashion.
