well female long haired hamsters r pretty much the same as male and female short haired hamsters.

male long haired hamsters tend to grow very long hair instead of female long haired hamsters. so male long haired hamsters are not really similar 2 short haired hamsters but females are.

They are not very different exept for the fact that one has long hairs and the other has short hairs. Not to be rude but I thought that was kinda self explanatory.

No, all Russian Dwarf Hamsters are short-haired.

Of course they can! Hair length doesnt make a difference

No more than short haired. It depends on the individual.

Teddy bear hamsters are just long haired syrian hamsters.

A long haired hamster, also known as a syrian hamster, can grow up to 5-6 inches. Even though they have longer and messier coats types than a short haired hamster, a long haired hamster does not grow bigger in size than a short haired. Long haired hamsters reach their full size a within a year after birth.

Long haired hamsters can live usually 3-8 years.

It doesn't matter if there long haired, short haired, dwarf or what ever they can bite when angry or if your hands smell of food.

there are three types of dachshunds the more common Short-haired, and the less popular Long haired And Wire-haired versions

Yes, you can get long haired and short haired guinea pigs which will grow up to 10-14 inches long while hamsters will grow up to 14 centimetres long.

hamsters tend to smell more if they have long hair so it would be better to go for a short haired hamster if you are thinking about getting one

Pugs are short haired dogs but they do moult a lot :)

World: 100,000 long haired 90-100,000 short haired USA: 23,000 long haired 25,000 short haired

If you have a short haired hamster you wouldn't have to deal with knots in the hair, a long haired hamster has long hair that you would have to brush everyday. I have a hamster with extremely long hair and i brush everyday. That what keeps knots out of the hair. It also makes it soft. DO NOT CUT ITS HAIR, unless it is used to your hand and will stay very still. If you have a short haired hamster you don't have to brush it as much. Use a soft tipped toothbrush when brushing the fur.

There are both long-haired and short-haired chihuahuas, so both.

No, unless one of the short haired dachshund had a long haired parent.

I think they are from South America.

It really depends on how healthy the hair is because just pretend you have one short haired dog and one long haired dog and i have one short haired dog and one long haired dog. You take GREAT care of the long haired dogs fur and not as good care of the short haired dogs fur and i am just the opposite. My short haired dogs fur will be stronger than my long haired dogs fur and your long haired dogs fur will be stronger than your short haired dog. So it just depends on how you care for the hair.

It all depends on the genetics in the hamster's parents. It one of the parents are long hair, and one hamster is short hair, the babies could be either long hair or short hair, depending on what the parent's genetics of the male are. If one of the grandparents were long hair, and the other short hair, then there is a equal possibility of both long hair, and short hair.

Short haired and Long haired.

Just like with dogs, usually teddybear hamsters and long haired hamsters. They do gain lots of pollen as well.
