They don't haul certain hazmat classes - Explosives 1 and radioactive isotopes are two things they don't haul, and their flatbed division doesn't do particularly specialised loads, as they have no RGN lowboy trailers in that division, unlike companies such as ATS, TMC, and Roehl. And, as far as I know, they don't have any tanker divisions, though, given the "have money, will travel" nature of that company, they would most likely be willing to if the opportunity arose. So, other than that, pretty much anything which can go on a dry van, refrigerated van, flatbed (straight flatbed or single drop 'stepdeck'), they're willing to haul it. They also pull containers (or at least used to), and have a number of dedicated accounts with Costco, Walmart, Target, and others. They used to have an autohaul (car carrier) division, as well, but the whole thing ended up being sold to a company called Blue Thunder.

Depends on the tow capacity of your truck. The bigger tow trucks can easily haul the mack trucks.
Yes, U-Haul does sell their old rental trucks. Visit their official website at www.uhaul.com and click on the "Search site" link. Look for truck sales, and you will be able to search for used trucks online.
ROP at U-Haul stands for roll over protection. U-Haul offers trailers, trucks, vans, as well as boxes and packing supplies.
U-haul sells its vehicles only when they do an upgrade to their fleet. Interestingly enough, they don't sell the trucks themselves, but rather send them to independent parties to sell for them. Basically this means that you can't just walk into u-haul and ask to buy one of the trucks but someone there could point you in the right direction.

It varies. U-Haul trucks aren't all registered in one state, so what the plate says is dependent on the state (or province, in the case of trucks registered in Canada) prints on their plates.
