Mecca (or Makkah) is the place of Kaaba surrounded by AlMasjis Alharam (the Grand Mosque); the holiest place for Muslims. Makkah also is also the place of prophet Muhammad birth and the first place where Quran was revealed by God to prophet Muhammad (PBUH) through the angel Gabriel (Jibril)
