- Covering their head at all times whilst in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee
- Removing shoes/socks when in the presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee
- Placing beautiful cloths over Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee
- By placing Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee on a higher platform/level then everybody else.
- By bowing down before Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee before doing anything else.
- Not talking in front of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee (Unless it is absouletely neccesary, or if talking about God).
- Waving a chaur sahib over Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee to keep off dust.
- By keeping Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee covered with cloths (Unless they are reading from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Jee)
