It depends on whom you're referring to. Spanish people, from Spain (Europe) don't usually eat much: something light like a salad and an omelette or fish in order to sleep well. Sometimes cold meet or a vegetable cream.
In America cooking is quite different. Most surely cornmeal or something like that. I can't be sure (I'm from Spain).
