The Allies also had a lot of servicemen and weapons. The Allies had more planes and ships plus they had more money and supplies. They had more fuel and the ability to get fuel and supplies to the battalion's. They both had the same determination that they would win. The Big Three had better head leaders than Hitler was a leader.
The biggest common link is that each nation held hostility due to how they were treated when the Treaty of Versailles was written. Also, each nation had totalitarian regimes and a need to created empires to gain an edge against their Western European and American rivals.
