Well, I've actually been to Iraq in the past, unfortunately I've seen many tanks there. It's not a stable living environment. Don't go there.

People move around in Iraq through a myriad of transportation mechanisms. Much of Iraq is connected by train and large highways for automotive transport (cars, trucks, buses, and mopeds). There are sparsely populated deserts that are better traveled by camel. There are airports in the major cities to facilitate air travel. Baghdad has a subway system. Boats run along the coast, canals, and the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers (both motorboats and canoes). And, of course, people walk from "here to there" especially in the older cities.
