"Auspex" has six-line stanzas while "A Psalm of Life" has four-line stanzas.
Psalm 121 is called a song of ascent. It is a psalm of assurances of God's sleepless care and protection. Metrically, the psalm falls into four stanzas of four lines each. This psalm was sung by people as they ascended the hill to Jerusalem for the annual feasts
Psalm 119 is the longest psalm and is separated into stanzas (each containing a collection of eight verses). Each verse of the stanzas start with a letter from the Jewish alphabet. In other words psalm 119 is what we call an acrostic. The eight verses of the first stanza start with the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. Verses in subsequent stanzas begin with Bet, Gimel, Dalet, etc. (In English would we do this by using A, B, C, D, E etc). So the 'Aleph' in psalm 119 is simply like starting the first several lines of a long poem in English with the letter 'A'.

One example of hyperbole in the Psalm of Life could be when the poet claims that "Life is real! Life is earnest!" This statement is an exaggerated way of emphasizing the seriousness and importance of life.
Stanzas are alike in that they are both units of poetry comprised of lines. They serve to organize and structure a poem, often centered around a common theme or idea. Additionally, stanzas are used to create a sense of rhythm and flow within a poem.
