I was actually trying to find the answer to this question, too!

But I know the term "peak" and "off peak" from New York commuter trains. peak describing the rush hour-ish time period when a lot of people commute using those trains.

As I saw the term "Adult non peak" on a movie theater page, looking up a matinée show, I assume it means the early day shows when most people are at work, school, college or whatever, so it's cheaper because it's not that crowded.

I can't guarantee anything but to me, this makes sense and if I'm right, I hope to help others with this answer.

Non-Coincident Peak (NCP) is the individual or actual peak demands of each load in an electrical system oftentimes occurring at different hours of the day. It does not necessarily fall during system peak. (This is what i understood about NCP...I gladly welcome corrections)
