Plants get food through photosynthesis. This is a process in green plants and certain other organisms by which carbohydrates are synthesized from carbon dioxide and water using light as an energy source. Most forms of photosynthesis release oxygen as a byproduct. So basically they convert light and water into energy.
Plants take in carbon dioxide (through pores on their leaves) and water (through their roots) and combine them with other nutrients disolved in the water to form sugars. The energy to do that comes from the light falling on their leaves. This process gives off oxygen as a waste product.
To make protein they use nitrogen, sulphur and other chemicals from the soil. This is usually fixed for them by fungi attached to their roots. However, lots of plants are carnivorous (e.g. the potato plant gets some of the chemicals to make protein by snaring tiny mites).
how do trees gather food? well trees gather food by there leaves and there trunk and tehre roots they also drink through there roots . and the are really really known as "paper" but if every recycles and saves trees we will all stop global wraming any the earth will be a happy place.
trees get their energy from photosynthesis which means they make their own sunlight to make energy
Most plants are great hunters and feed on small animals such as rats and in some cases small dogs
Trees need this to make food
Photosynthesis
Sunlight
Plants get there food from the sun
Plants need food to grow as human do. Plants need salts to grow, and plants use salts for their food.
plants need water, sunlight and fertile soil to grow.
Usually animals store food for the winter obviously. Plants store food i guess because they might need food if the food and water supply runs out. the plants have extra food.
Plants need the cycle of photosythesis.... Sunlight, Water and Carbon Dioxide.
All green plants need sunlight to produce food. Dandelions are green plants.
Plants store food for energy.
food
No. Water is something that plants need to survive and make food out of.
Plants need food to grow as human do. Plants need salts to grow, and plants use salts for their food.
No,plants need nitrogen.
No,plants need nitrogen.
Plants store much of their food in the form of starch.
plants need soil and animals need food
We need more plants than animals in the food pyramid so there is enough food and air to support them
plants need air to produce their food
